English: After saying good bye to the Australia Zoo, we got to Brisbane and here we stayed at the filthiest hostel that I've ever stayed: Blue Tongue Backpackers & Tours. It's so gross and the smell, OMG, it was awful. Now, why did we stay here? It was the only place that was near the CBD where you can park your camper and sleep on it for AUD 15, the staff was nice and it was 10 minutes walking from the CBD.

English: The first thing we did was walk through the Story Bridge and of course, we went to the opposite side of the city. So instead of ending up at the CBD, we ended up at Kangaroo Point, which was nice because on our way back we could watch the sunset over the CBD buildings.
Español: Arreglamos nuestras cosas y salimos a recorrer Brisbane, o lo que pudimos esa tarde. Lo primero que hicimos fue caminar por el Story Bridge y por supuesto, fuimos hacia el lado opuesto. English: We just had one day to go around Brisbane, so we went to the Information Centre and we grabbed a brochure that had a walking tour. So we started at the Queen St. Mall, where you can find a bunch of stuff, besides de Info Centre.

English: After that, we went to the Roma St. Parkland, which is an amazing botanical garden -I could spend my life sitting there-. We went to an "exhibition" that's called Spectacle Garden, it's a subtropical garden where they have flowers from all over the world, and as the name states, it's a espectacle.

English: We walked through the Kurilpa Bridge and we got to the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA). At the time we were there there was an exhibition called Sculpture Is Everything, I'm not much of an art fan, but this was completely amazing, you could spend years watching every piece. The collection we spent most of our time was the Indigenous Australian Art, mostly because we tried to figure out what was the story that every piece was telling.
FYI: I don't know if I told you this at Uluru's post, but each piece that the aboriginals do tells a story, each symbol means something.

English: After we got out of there, we went for a walk at Little Stanley St., where there are cafes and places to eat and chill. We also walked around the Southbank Parkland. Walked through the Goodwill Bridge to get back to the CBD. While we were there, the Brisbane Festival was happening and we got just in time for the light show, which was awesome.
