Cape Tribulation

English: This was one of the tours we booked at Wicked Travel and let me tell you... I could've spent that money in something else. Not that it was terrible, but I think it could've been better.

Español: Este fue uno de los tour que pagamos en Wicked en Sydney y déjenme decirles, que pude haber gastado mejor este dinero... No es que el tour haya sido malo, ni nada por el estilo, pero creo que pudo haber sido mejor.

Port Douglas

English: We booked our tour with The Adventure Company, and they offer two "packages": Deluxe Pak and the Starter Pak -that's the one that we got, it's cheaper-. Our first stop was Port Douglas, so if you paid the Starter Pak they left you at the village, but if you paid the Deluxe Pak they took to the Rainforest Wildlife Habitat. We stayed at the village and guess what? Since it was pretty early, every single thing was closed. So, we had to walk along the beach and wait for the guide to pick us up. In my opinion if the company and the tour guides know that you get to Pourt Douglas really early and they know that everything is closed at that time, DON'T OFFER THAT, take everyone to the Rainforest Wildlife Habitat.

Español: Hicimos el tour con The Adventure Company, son super puntuales -como todo el mundo en Australia-. Y ofrecen dos paquetes: el Deluxe y el Starter -que fue el que nosotros elegimos-. Nuestra primera parada fue Port Douglas, si pagabas el Starter Pak te quedabas recorriendo el pueblo, pero si pagabas el Deluxe Pak te llevaban al Rainforest Wildlife Habitat. Nosotros nos quedamos en el pueblo y ¿adivinen qué? Como era tan temprano TODO, absolutamente todo, estaba cerrado. Así que tuvimos que caminar por la playa y esperar a que el guía nos recogiera. Mi opinión es que si la compañía y los guías saben que llegan super temprano a Pourt Douglas y saben que todo está cerrado NO LO OFREZCAN y ya, lleven a todo el mundo al Rainforest Wildlife Habitat y punto.

Mossman Gorge

English: So they picked us up and we went to Mossman Gorge, where we walked around the circuits and take pictures and that was it. Then we took the Daintree River Ferry, which is the only way you have to croos the river to get to Cape Tribulation, unless you want swim and die being eaten by a crocodile.

Español: Nos recogieron y de ahí fuimos a Mossman Gorge, donde lo que hicimos fue caminar por el circuito y ver el paisaje y tomar fotos y ya. De ahí agarramos el Daintree River Ferry, es la única manera de cruzar ese río para llegar a Cape Tribulation, a no ser que quieras nadar y quieras morir siendo comida de cocodrilo.

Daintree River

English: We decided to stay one night at the Cape Tribulation Beach House -which was a really bad idea, because I'm a scaredy cat-. Pros: the cabins are clean and beautiful. Cons: bathrooms are outside the cabins and far away, and they only have little lights thatlight the path. Luckily, ours was the first cabin, so the bathroom so the bathroom was a bit closer -still, you had to walk-.

Español: Nosotros decidimos quedarnos una noche en Cape Tribulation Beach House -mala idea para una persona tan asustadiza como yo-. Lo bueno: las cabañas son limpias y lindas. Lo malo: los baños quedan afuera y relativamente lejos de las cabañas y solo tienen unas pequeñas lucecitas que iluminan el camino. Afortunadamente, nos tocó en la primera cabaña así que el baño estaba cerca -igual tenías que caminar un poco-.

English: Another thing we didn't like is that they make you eat at the restaurant and everything is super expensive, they take advantage that the nearest store is 30 minutes away.On our way back to Cairns, we took the Daintree River Cruise -Crocodile Express-, this takes you around the mangroves and the main attraction is that you can see the salt water crocodiles, which are the largest in the world.

Español: Otra de las cosas que no me gustó es que te obligan a comer en el restaurant que tienen ahí y todo es demasiado caro, se aprovechan que la tienda más cercana está a 30 minutos para colocar unos precios absurdos.De regreso a Cairns tomamos el Daintree River Cruise -Crocodile Express-, es un "crucero" que te lleva por los manglares del Daintree River y la atracción principal es que puedes ver a los cocodrilos de agua salada, que son los más grandes del mundo.
