Pre-birthday Melbourne

English: After the chaos we went through -I had to post and ramble about it- the days that followed were more relaxed. So, I'm gonna sum up what we did the days before my birthday.

We went to Emerald Lake Park because we wanted to have an aussie style bbq. On our way we stopped by the Albert Park, where Melbourne's Grand Prix Circuit is. It's amazing, plus it was sunny and the sky was cloudless, just amazing.

Albert Park
English: We went to the Immigration Museum, to get in you have to pay AUD 10 but it's worth it. Everything gets to your heart, the stories, the costumes, everything… Besides that, we also walk around Melbourne's CBD and we used the brochures we got @ Federation Squares as guide.

English: We also met with Matteo, one of the guys we knew at the Uluru tour. The day he got to Melbourne I wasn't feeling well and we did nothing during the day, so we met "under the clocks" at Federation Square, and from there we went to Cherry Bar, which is at the AC/DC Lane. I think we got there too early because we were the only ones there, and the music was incredibly load and annoying, so we left and went to the Young & Jackson.

Emerald Lake Park
English: We got to see the penguins at St. Kilda -can you imagine how excited I was?-. I was jumping around, they're soooo GORGEOUS, the bad thing was since it was really late and dark I don't have pictures of the penguins because they don't let you take pictures with flash, and a long exposure wasn't an option hahaha.

English: And before I say good bye, I have to tell you guys about an amazing burger place that's at Degraves St, actually it's a franchise, but the burgers are super good, it's called Grill'd. We kindda have an obsession with eating burgers around the globe, hahaha. And that was it before we got to go to celebrate my birthday.

Tell me, do you like hamburguers? Do you have like a weird tradition when you travel? Favorite burger places? I can name a few hahaha.

See you around!
